The purpose of this blog is to discuss the 16th century Spanish Jesuit missionary. Brother Juan accompanied St. Francis Xavier to Japan. He was one of three Jesuits who were the first Christian missionaries ever to visit Japan. Having arrived in 1549, Brother Juan never again left the island nation, dying there twenty years later at the age of 42. His life was dedicated to the early Japanese Christians.

Brother Juan of Japan - the Movie
On 4/19/2018 I finished my first ever movie script entitled the above. It is registered with the Writers Guild of America, West - registration number: 1945548. The thing I learned about the process was just how much my experience writing my masters thesis prepared my to write a movie script. It was nearly an identical experience. It was entered into the Emerging Screenwriters contest so we'll see how that goes. It was a great experience and I hope people like it.
